Herman Miller e-Business Capabilities:
Solutions Built Around You
If you've concluded e-business has been a case of too much 'virtual' and not enough reality, perhaps Herman Miller can show you another way to look at the real opportunities. As in 'real fast.' 'Real reliable.' And 'real ready.'
All our resources are connected: dealers, the sales force, design/specification, manufacturing operations, and suppliers. So when you're looking for a single chair or trying to outfit a corporate headquarters, you can be connected, too. And we'll lock right into your e-procurement efforts whether you're just putting your toe in the water or you already have an up-and-running e-marketplace strategy.
By electronically integrating our entire order-to-delivery process, we've connected everything you need to get the office furniture you need...with more speed and accuracy than ever before. With our eZconnect digital pathway, in alliance with your Herman Miller dealer, you get from furniture specification to order preparation to order acknowledgements that schedule delivery of your order in as few as 10 to 20 days. And you can get there right from your desktop with a custom website designed just for your organization...with design tools, product information and pricing on-line and ready 24 hours a day.
Z-Axis is the premier office design tool in the office furniture industry used primarily by Herman Miller sales people, designers, authorized dealers, and end customers. This proprietary application allows a user to lay out an office space — including simple architectural features such as walls, doors, windows, and columns — and dynamically create and place workstations within that space. In addition, Z-Axis generates shaded, 3-D images that can be dynamically rotated, giving the user a clear view of how the product will actually look. Z-Axis simplifies the initial specification process and allows for quick and easy revisions of designs.
